Mark has asked the Club to revisit this discussion at the January 2010 meeting but to not allow this to drag on any longer. Rusty went over the procedures for the tech inspection and procedures. He suggested that the Club provide the tower with a copy machine so that all tech paperwork can be copied in order for the Club to keep a copy on record. He also mentioned that the procedures will be discussed at the next Regional meeting regarding the taking of parts out of service. (Suggestions) Mark suggested that Fred Miller and Doug Newman create a checklist for novice families to include time spent with tech director and safety director. Rusty suggested that the Club advise all new novice families to have their car inspected by the tech director prior to racing to ensure that the motor is legal. Mark mentioned that the Club was never reimbursed the $250 for advertising from QMA. Greg will contact QMA regarding the reimbursement and find out when that might be collected. There were also some individuals who were still waiting to be paid for working concessions. Greg will take care of paying those individuals. Jayme & Stephanie Sarff still need to be paid for winning the Halloween decorating contest at the Coliseum. Don Dowell made a motion to accept the report with Stephanie Sarff seconding. Motion passed. Radios Hammer had mentioned to Mark that the Club had not yet paid for the radios. Mark made Greg aware and he has already been mailed payment in full. Lance Alcorn Engine Issue It was discussed that ALQMA may be responsible for a portion of replacement or rebuild with a block provided by Dave Preston. Mark has been in contact with both Dave Preston and Ron Gonsalves regarding this issue. Dave Preston has a block that he is sending to Ron Gonsalves to be that the lines were drained. CLUB KEY TRANSFERS Jayme gave Deric keys. Stephanie will give Jill the concession keys. Aaron will give Jimmy his keys. Stephanie gave Karrie the secretary s folder. Fred Miller scheduled the next meeting for January 16, 2010.
